Review: Excel Plastering
Excel Plastering (Michele) just completed the tricky job of plastering a hallway ceiling over a stairwell and a wall. We are very pleased with the quality of the work, the clearing up and the communication. We are happy to recommend.

I had a problem with my injector, the guy spent 4 days replacing unnecessary parts but not the injector and said the car was working. After spending £900 the car is still not working. He later agreed that it was an injector problem and confessed that he doesn't have the expertise to fix the issue. Never visit again.

Review: Chantry Bathrooms Ltd
Chantry fitted our bathroom and cloakroom for us a few years ago. Mike was unfortunately injured, so his brother stepped in to help - while the work was mostly of reasonable quality, it wasn't as good as Mike's work. Unfortunately he overtightened part of the shower, which resulted in it causing a very slow leak - only discovered months later after water came through the kitchen ceiling and damaged the adjoining wall. The part was inspected by both Mike (who admitted it was very tight), and the manufacturers who stated that it had been overtightened. We had to pay for the shower unit to be replaced, retiling and a new stud wall. We contacted Chantry time and time again to ask them to contribute since they caused the damage, yet they refused to return our calls/emails. So while the quality of the work (apart from the shower) was generally good, and they worked very hard, i'm afraid i was extremely disappointed by the very unfair customer service, especially since we'd just had a new baby, were without a bath/shower for weeks and then had to pay for a new shower unit when i was on maternity pay.
