  I am just coming to the end of my tenancy & I do not agree with Jolly P. In my experiance the team at Abbey have been very helpful to me. Sorting out appliance problems etc., as soon as they could. They kept me informed at all times. They are always very friendly & supportive. I would not hestitate to recommend or use them again.

• Abbey Estates St Albans

  I used Abbey Estates to first rent and subsequently sell my property. I found them on both counts to be professional, courteous and quick to respond. Their helpful and friendly approach puts your mind at rest during what can be a stressful time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone renting or selling their property.

  Jolly P you are unbelievably ungrateful! and you should be ashamed of yourself - You did rent a property through us which was one of our cheapest one bedroom flats which was priced at that level because it was in a poor condition. You constantly moaned and whinged about it until we could no longer take you seriously. It was a bit like the boy who cried wolf. Again you are over dramatising the problems that you had especially the roof leak (it had not collapsed as you put it). However it is true to say that when we were trying to resolve the problem one of the workmen damaged it further. At this point we arranged for you and your girlfriend to move into a three star hotel on a full board basis whilst the roof leak was fixed. As usual you were not satisfied with this and decided to work the situation even further to your advantage and insisted that all of your drinks were paid for as well. I am very sorry that you do not think that we did enough for you.

• Abbey Estates- What a Joke!

  I don't reccomend this agency to anybody out there. We used them for over 4 years and all we had were problems. They couldn't care less, they had an answer for everything, instead of trying to sort out our problems, it seemed that they had the same issues within their own houses and that was always the answer. Gas smell, dampness, bad shower are just only of the few things we went through without solution, even to the point that we had to move out because the ceiling of our bedroom colapsed. yeah...Colapsed..! the plumber came 5 daysafter we reported the problem and he felt through from the loft into our bedroom. Apalling! We nearly had to beg this agency to put us in an alternative accomodation cause they said that we could sleep in our lounge where all the wet furniture was. Not only that! we left them nearly one year ago and today we received a letter saying that our bad reviews can damage their business and that if we don't retract our comments they will take this matter further. WHAT A JOKE!!! now they are worrying about their reputation, but they didn;t care when they were taking our money and our landlord's money to "manage" a property that obviously they weren;t doing correctly. The Only reason I retracted our review is cause I can't prove some things that they know they did to us and I don't have more time for them. Think twice!!
