About Us

Brief description

Near the centre of St Albans & the cathedral, & set in 5 acres of beautiful gardens, with a lake. Dates back to 1700's & converted to an hotel in the 1960s by the Newling Ward family, who still own & run it. 30 individual bedrooms, a blend of classical & elegant decor, with a two rosette restaurant.

    Great location. One can walk to the cathedral, go to Verulanium Park or the city centre. Service in the hotel is exceptional. Highly recommended.
