About Us

Brief description

Performing Arts School for 6-18 year olds. Theatretrain have an open door policy for all children so ability is not essential. Everyone takes part in an hour of singing, dance and drama. Ethusiasm, commitment and having fun are a priority. Step by step, pupils are taught the skills of the performing arts. Teamwork and life skills are important. All pupils take part in an annual show either locally or in a West End theatre.
Classes are held on Saturday mornings during school term time from 10am-1pm. Workshops are held in the summer and easter holidays. Trial sessions can booked subject to space availability and viewing times can be arranged for parents with a confirmed appointment.

Trade Bodies / Associations

Theatretrain work is supported by our patrons: Sir Derek Jacobi KBE, Alfred Molina, Kate Williams, Frances de la Tour, Catherine Tate. All famed for their work on tv, movies and the West End stage.
Theatretrain has also represented the UK for the past 11years at the annual european drama festival.
