Worst service ever

We were very much looking forward to eating here, we had heard so many good reviews. However, we were left waiting after we had been seated, waiting after we (eventually) got a menu, waiting after we ordered. Eventually we got our starter but after an hour of waiting we gave up.We told the manager we were leaving, and at last we got a good customer service. We didn't stay though.Very dissapointing.

Fab Gastro Pub

The Fox, near Harpenden, serves really great gastro pub food. They do a good range of pizza, pasta and food from the grill. Outside there is quite a big terrace (set back a bit from the main Luton Rd), which is great when it's sunny. There is a limited food choice if you sit outside though, as they only serve pizza and salad. Inside the decor is modern but really cosy and welcoming - slate floor and cow skin rugs, etc. The service and food is really good - one of the best steaks around. But you do pay for it. It's not a cheap pub meal, average main is around �£10, but it's not your average pub. Highly recommended.
