Great Gastro Pub

The Wicked Lady, near Wheathampsted, serves really good gastro pub food. They change the menu from time to time, but they always do a good range of pizza, pasta and food from the grill. I love the burger with warm tomato salsa, but they haven't had it on the menu for ages. There's loads of parking because it's in the middle of nowhere. Inside, the furnishings are really modern, but cosy. There's a small bar area, where you can sit and have a drink, or they do let you eat there if the restaurant is full. Not brillant for babies/children as, when I last went, they didn't have any highchairs.
