• DO NOT GO NEAR THEM.... complete cowboys.

  Had work carried out by them. The Damp has continued to returned. Their guarantees are worthless. I see they have started charging for guarantee inspections - obviously they have a huge amount of disatisfied customers. Best practise is is to research an INDEPENDENT DAMP SURVEYOR (who also have told me Kenwood are cowboys) - pay for a report - then speak to a proper damp company or builder (with damp experience). Most Independent damp surveyors will know a couple of trustworthy smaller companies. Get IMPARTIAL advice first!

• Total crooks. Can't believe still in business

  Got them to dampproof my place in East London in 2004. A month later damp returned in 1 part. When they guy came out he tried to say it was my fault (!) I wont say how we "persuaded" them to return to do the work but they eventually did so very reluctantly. They failed to respond to repeated requests for a payment receipt and a guarantee certificate once the original job was done. I eventually gave up. Now, less than 10 years later the damp is prevalent throughout the areas they treated. I recently contacted them (for fun, expecting nothing) to claim against the guarantee. Will update as to how it goes but for starters they won't do anything it seems unless I pay 135 GBP for a "senior surveyor" to come out to look at the place.... Avoid these guys like the plague. The contractors they use seem like regular guys but I suspect they are given inferior materials/told to cut corners and once payment made the head office are at best ignoring, at worst plain rude and aggressive. I see from their website that they still have several minor celeb's testimonials. I very much doubt that any are genuine.
