Dr Paul Owain Cavanah - Chartered Counselling Psychologist

I am a chartered counselling psychologist with a professional doctorate in counselling psychology, offering counselling and psychotherapy in St Albans.

First and foremost my focus is on the experience of the individual client and helping you to make sense of your feelings and your life so that you can face your difficulties in a more creative and truthful way.

I am experienced in both short term counselling and longer term psychotherapy, and have worked with a broad range of clients, (both GP and self referrals) in different organisations within Hertfordshire over the past eight years.

I am also an experienced Mindfulness practitioner and can offer you guidance in developing your own Mindfulness practice. Over time, Mindfulness can help you to live more creatively with stressful situations and stay more emotionally present.
